Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Medication Administration and Management: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitor patients' responses, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Clinical Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient progress, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, share knowledge, and resolve any challenges that may arise.
  • Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and families about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care, promoting informed decision-making and empowering them to take an active role in their health.
  • Emergency Response and Code Teams: Recognize and respond to deteriorating patient conditions, initiate life-saving interventions when necessary, and actively participate in code teams and rapid response scenarios.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
