A qualified Construction Supervisor will oversee one or more teams engaged in aerial and/or underground telecommunications projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems are executed safely, efficiently, and accurately.

To be successful in this position, candidates should possess a solid understanding of telecommunications construction processes, familiarity with aerial lift equipment, utility infrastructure, and various telecommunications tools. Proficiency in operating cable placement machinery and troubleshooting issues is essential.

Key qualifications include:

  • Ability to work safely, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in coordinating team activities.
  • Capability to work in various positions, including standing and overhead, for extended durations.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle cable placement tools.
  • Experience working at heights using ladders or aerial lifts.
  • Strong manual dexterity.
  • Skill in prioritizing and organizing workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Understanding of operating essential equipment, including aerial lifts and hand tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and provide direction to team members within a designated area or project.
  • Review work assignments and reports to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Establish and uphold processes that facilitate task completion within the team.
  • Engage with team members, contractors, and clients to support project objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field or a minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning and coordination.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:


Candidates must be able to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including fine motor skills for computer-related duties.

Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation, and in challenging terrains such as rural areas and active construction sites. Noise levels may vary from moderate to loud.
