Position Summary:

The Recreation Services Attendant position at Seabrook Hospitality offers a unique opportunity to engage with guests while contributing to the community's recreational offerings. In this role, you will be essential in creating enjoyable experiences for visitors, focusing on the upkeep of both the Crescent Park Indoor and Sunshine Outdoor Swimming Pool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify guest registrations for pool access.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing frequently touched surfaces throughout the day.
  • Manage towel supplies and arrange poolside furniture as necessary.
  • Conduct routine inspections of designated areas to collect litter and used linens.
  • Report any lost or found items, damages, or inventory issues to supervisors.
  • Supervise 'The Dugout' and oversee the lending and return of outdoor recreational gear.
  • Follow up with guests regarding unreturned equipment.
  • Accurately process transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle secure payment transactions, including credit and debit cards.
  • Assist guests, manage inventory, process payments, and ensure cleanliness at the skating rink to promote a positive recreational atmosphere.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment, showing patience with both guests and colleagues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with various technologies and systems, including timekeeping software and email applications.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, service, or related fields, demonstrating the ability to fulfill essential job functions.
  • All candidates must successfully complete a background check prior to employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to adapt to varying temperatures and engage in diverse physical activities.
  • Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as moving objects, dust, and noise.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
