The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in materials management, distribution, or a related industry with proven management/supervisor responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select, motivate, train, and develop a competent departmental staff
  • Monitor departmental personnel and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Implement and maintain systems to determine and drive desired inventory levels based on vendor lead times and customer delivery expectations

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or Equivalent additional experience
  • 5-10 Years of Materials in Manufacturing, Distribution, or related industry with proven Management/Supervisor responsibilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications - Including Excel
  • Experienced with ERP Systems - QAD or SAP preferred
  • Strong Communications skills managing both Customer & Supplier engagements
