Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Financial Deadlines: Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Financial Management: Prepare financial management reports and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Accounting Control: Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
  • Financial Discrepancies: Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Financial Audit: Prepare for and coordinate the audit process.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
  • Cost Reporting: Compile and submit data for annual cost reports.
  • Payroll Processing: Ensure that payroll is processed correctly and timely.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain electronic and paper records as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Education: Accounting degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles, knowledge of economic principles, knowledge of auditing practices and principles.
  • Experience: Entry-level (4-year bachelor's degree) to 2 years of experience.
