Job Title: Process Inspector

G.S. Precision is a leading manufacturer of critical components for the Aerospace and Defense Industries. We are seeking a highly motivated Process Inspector to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Process Inspector will be responsible for performing a wide variety of inspection duties under the direction of the Lead Person and/or the Quality Manager. This includes inspecting parts to established inspection procedures, establishing in-process inspection procedures, and reporting any quality defects or problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process and final inspections with minimal supervision.
  • Inspect parts to established inspection procedures.
  • Establish in-process inspection procedures in coordination with the Quality Manager.
  • Report any quality defects or problems to the department manager.
  • Maintain accurate records and data as required.
  • Maintain the area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.
Requirements:
  • Ability to understand and use measurement and inspection devices.
  • Ability to understand or learn the use of SPC theories, functions, and blueprints.
  • Ability to fill out required company inspection and production documents.
  • Ability to determine when parts meet specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reading skills.
