Neuroscience ICU Nursing Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neuroscience ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse to deliver patient-centered care and be part of a multidisciplinary team that prioritizes empathy and compassion.
Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and education. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient experiences, promoting healing, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Deliver patient-centered nursing care and participate in patient and family education.
- Create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, and patient care support staff to provide high-quality patient care and education.
- Maintain cultural and diversity awareness when interacting with patients, visitors, co-workers, and other customers.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
- 1 year of critical care experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
