Job Summary:

Havertys is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious DOT Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up merchandise in customers' homes while maintaining a safe and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
  • Set up furniture and secure goods as needed
  • Maintain high performance levels by keeping within customer time windows
  • Accurately communicate and document delivery transactions using mobile devices or provided paperwork
  • Unload or load product as needed at stores or warehouses
  • Assist in warehouses or showrooms as needed

Requirements:

  • 18 years old or older
  • Able to achieve DOT Certification (company-paid)
  • Able to pass background requirements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record with minimal moving violations
  • Willing and able to push, pull, and repeatedly team lift 150 pounds throughout the shift
  • 1 or more years of delivery experience (preferred)
