Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team as a Circulate in the OR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circulating and scrubbing, with a preference for candidates who also have experience in Phase I recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Circulate in the OR for various procedures, including orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, urology, ENT, and endoscopy.
  • Manage arterial lines, central lines, and IV starts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Operate and monitor patients on ventilators and BiPAP machines with confidence and expertise.
  • Scrub experience and Phase I recovery experience are highly preferred, but not required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current hospital experience in the OR, with a strong background in circulating.
  • Skills: Proficiency in arterial line management, central line care, IV starts, and operating ventilators and BiPAP.
  • Certifications: PALS certification is required, with ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications also required.
  • Education: BSN is preferred, but not required.
  • Travel Experience: Previous travel experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Documentation: Candidates must submit a work history, a skills checklist (current within one year and relevant to the specialty), and at least one supervisory reference from the past two years.
License Requirements
  • New Hampshire state license or a compact license is required.
Certifications
  • ACLS
  • BLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
