Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and prepare craft cocktails, wine, craft beers, coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards.
  • Prepare and stock the bar and cocktail area with the necessary tools and equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our beverage menu, including beer, wine, and liquor brands, as well as common cocktails.
  • Prepare and sell coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages by following recipes and preparation techniques.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, specials, and 86'd items available in the restaurant.
  • Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take and deliver beverage and food orders in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner.
  • Present guest bills and process payments in an accurate, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance on all equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure that service and product standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations.
  • Arrive to work on time, well-groomed, and in a clean uniform for every shift.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs and provide solutions.
  • Handle proper food and beverage preparation, rotations, labeling, and storage techniques.
  • Handle guest complaints by following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Complete specific or general side-work, opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Break down the bar and cocktail area at the end of the shift.
  • Follow all sanitation and safety policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Previous bartending experience required.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED.
  • TABC Certification.
  • Food Handler's Certification.
  • Must be passionate about creating an exceptional and professional guest experience.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and clerical accuracy. Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up.
  • Professional grooming, appearance, communication, and demeanor a must.
  • Must adhere to a flexible schedule that might involve nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must maintain proper physical movement allowing to be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
