The Butler County Family YMCA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Coach to join our team. As a Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for leading group fitness classes, providing one-on-one training sessions, and developing personalized fitness plans for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Group Fitness Classes
- Develop and lead group fitness classes that cater to diverse fitness levels and interests
- Ensure a safe and engaging workout environment for all participants
- Provide One-on-One Training Sessions
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with members to help them achieve their fitness goals
- Develop personalized fitness plans that take into account each member's fitness level, goals, and preferences
- Develop and Implement Fitness Programs
- Design and implement fitness programs that promote overall wellness and fitness
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to develop and implement new programs and services
- Build Relationships with Members
- Build strong relationships with members to understand their fitness goals and preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure member satisfaction and retention
- Education and Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Personal Training certification through a nationally recognized provider or Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science/Exercise Physiology
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong knowledge of exercise science and fitness principles
- Clearances and Certifications
- PA Criminal Record Check
- PA Child Abuse History Certification
- FBI (DHS) Fingerprinting History Clearance
