Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Lodi, California. As a Donation Attendant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our donation center, ensuring a positive experience for our donors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean up the area in and around the donation trailer/pod, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
• Courteously assist donors in the receipt of donated items and provide receipts.
• Separate and sort donated materials into the proper containers, and properly stack materials as instructed by the supervisor.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
• Be available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our store.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
