Job Description

As a Resident Care Companion at Danbury Wooster, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily personal care routines such as showers, bathing, and personal hygiene
  • Helping residents prepare for and escorting them to meals, activities, social programs, and appointments
  • Providing companionship and engaging residents in activities of daily living

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • STNA certification required for STNA positions
  • No certification required for Resident Care Companion positions
  • Experience working in a similar capacity in a Senior Living setting is helpful but not required
  • A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are essential
