Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cochlear Implant Audiologist to join our team at Staffing Proxy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology, with a focus on cochlear implants, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients for cochlear implant candidacy, including aided and unaided sound-field testing.
- Perform diagnostic testing for adult cochlear implant recipients, including intra-operative testing of electrode action potentials, routine impedance measurements, and MAPing adjustments.
- Provide a full range of diagnostic hearing and vestibular testing.
- Perform specialized testing, including but not limited to VNG.
- Evaluate the benefit of hearing aid(s) use, including electroacoustic evaluation of the hearing aid(s), functional gain measures, and real-ear measurements with the hearing aid(s).
Requirements
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent.
- Valid audiology license or ability to obtain a license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in audiology, with a focus on cochlear implants preferred.
