Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CRNA to join our anesthesia team in a picturesque rural setting. As a Rural Anesthesia Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across a variety of surgical specialties.

About the Role
  • Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
  • Assess patient health history, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Monitor patients during anesthesia administration, adjusting dosage and technique as necessary to maintain optimal anesthesia depth and vital signs.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement anesthesia care plans for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  3. Work collaboratively with the anesthesia team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program with certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
