Job SummaryThe Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Coronary Care Unit. This is an ongoing opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, adhering to the highest standards of the nursing profession.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise through ongoing education and training.
- Exhibit leadership skills and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- Basic Life Support Training
- Infection Control Training
- Associates Degree in Nursing Required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Certification in specialty preferred
- Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
- 2 years of Med Surg, Cardiac, or ICU experience is preferred
