Job Summary:

The Bobrick Manufacturing Trainee is an entry-level position responsible for inspecting quality discrepancies and preparing components for customer delivery. This role requires the ability to follow verbal instructions in English and function in a team-oriented environment where safety is the top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Understand and apply Bobrick's 4 Grade Quality System to distinguish and explain between levels of defect.
• Maintain quality standards and follow rules of engagement.
• Operate equipment such as tape machines, pallet banding and wrapping equipment, and miter saws to secure packages and prepare components for shipment.
• Learn entry-level operation of panel finishing machines, Hot Press, and Glue Spreader.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use routers, files, and other shop equipment as directed and trained.
• Familiarity with shop or industrial woodworking, cabinetry, or CNC experience is a plus.
• Effective communication and organizational skills are essential.

Compensation:

$18.00/hr. (additional $1.50 shift differential for alternate shift)
