About the Opportunity
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Lancaster, CA to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves assessing and evaluating students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders. Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs is also a key responsibility. Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and providing training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment are also essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications
A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or a related field, a State License to start the assignment, and previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics are required for this role. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
