Job Description

At Holiday Inn Express Walterboro, we're looking for a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as process guest payments and refunds.
  • Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, including issuing room keys and handling safety deposit boxes.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel events and activities, and provide guests with information and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Fluency in the local language (English) and basic math skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role preferred.
