Job Summary

The Personal Lines Account Associate is responsible for assisting Personal Lines Account Managers and Producers with the servicing of assigned accounts in accordance with the practices, policies, and procedures of the Company. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a successful team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare invoices, transmittals, ID cards, binders, and cancellation forms as required.
  • Review and process change requests in the agency management system and confirm completeness and accuracy.
  • Set up and maintain new and renewal client files.
  • Participate in the renewal preparation process, including generating renewal updates on accounts specified by the Account Manager or Producer.
  • Provide quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriers.
  • Prepare policies for delivery to clients, including generating proposals and annual reviews for renewals and new business.
  • Communicate with company personnel regarding the client's needs and/or issues.
  • Maintain an accurate suspense system on all items that require a response.
  • Field phone calls from insureds regarding questions about their coverage, changes, additions, payments, cancellations, etc.
  • Maintain complete customer files.
  • Responsible for scanning communications and documents.
  • Input/maintain data on account management system and ancillary systems as required.
  • Provide mail room and switchboard support, when needed.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor and overall support of the Account Manager and Producer.
Requirements
  • Experience with MS Excel required.
  • Insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills.
  • Proven ability of working in a successful team environment.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization.
  • Applied Agency Management System experience preferred but not required.
  • Flexible Work-from-home scheduled if preferred.
