Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler III to join our team at Della Infotech. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks in the manufacturing process, following manufacturing documentation and allocated time, and utilizing available resources to assemble and inspect electronic components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire electronic components according to assembly instructions, parts lists, and diagrams
  • Select and integrate components into sub-assembly and assembly units
  • Utilize a range of tools, including soldering irons, to assemble and install components
  • Interface with PC to record job activities and maintain accurate records
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and revision nomenclature
  • Follow assembly work instructions, including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing
  • Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions
  • Excellent team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration
  • Flexible with jobs that can assist in other areas
  • Adequate computer knowledge to look up engineering EOs using local database and other required documentation prior to starting a job
  • Prototype cable manufacturing experience (IPC-620 certification) and mechanical assembly (IPC-610 certification) are a plus
Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and frequently stands, sits, and reaches with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15-30 pounds.

Education

One year certificate from college or technical school, or two to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Schedule Notes

8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime during the week and weekend.
