About the Role

Safari Club International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced marketing and communications professional to join our team as Director of Marketing and Communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in marketing and communications, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets. You will be responsible for creating and executing marketing plans that drive engagement and conversion, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote our mission and values
  • Lead a team of marketing and communications professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of marketing and communications spend
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, donors, and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with industry-standard marketing and communications tools and technologies
