BayCare Health System is seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Manager II who is committed to delivering exceptional service to our community. As a prominent multi-specialty group in Tampa Bay, we prioritize the health and wellness of our community, with over 600 providers across 45 specialties in more than 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.
The Assistant Site Manager II will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations and utilization management of the physician practice in a minimally complex environment.
- Having a comprehensive understanding of the financial, operational, administrative, and regulatory aspects of the facility.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and managing risk at the facility level.
- Managing maintenance and procurement for the specific facility.
- Handling patient access to services, verifying insurance contracts, managing utilization, charge entry, collections, clinical support, quality improvement, referral relations, patient satisfaction, personnel management, and problem resolution.
- Acting as a liaison to the Director of Physician Services, Director of Clinical Quality and Compliance, and Director of CBO.
- Maintaining office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential variations.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- 4 years of leadership experience in a healthcare delivery setting with a High School Diploma or Equivalent; or
- 5 years of experience in a physician or ambulatory clinic office with a High School Diploma or Equivalent; or
- 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare delivery setting with a Bachelor's Degree; or
- 3 years of experience in a physician or ambulatory clinic office with a Bachelor's Degree.

- Understanding and application of medical terminology.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

- Proficiency in utilizing CPT and appropriate ICD codes.
