Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Healthcare at Home. As a PRN PT Home Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of our patients' homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
  • Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
  • Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients' homes, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians' plan of care.
  • Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
  • Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist.
  • License to practice physical therapy within the state.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
