Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation
    • Support the implementation of Henrico's Strategic Plan, Destination 2025, including the Teaching and Learning Framework, to advance student life readiness.
    • Collaborate with teachers and leaders to promote innovation and the purposeful use of technology in teaching and learning.
  • Technology Integration and Support
    • Model and implement the integration of Virginia Digital Learning Integration (DLI) standards and Virginia Computer Science (CS) standards into division-level curriculum and teacher design of instruction.
    • Support educators, students, and families in recognizing the responsibilities and opportunities inherent in living in a digital world.
  • Professional Learning and Development
    • Facilitate division and school-based professional learning and the development of resources for innovation and the purposeful use of technology.
    • Support school and division leaders to utilize HCPS-approved digital resources to monitor and support student learning progress.
  • Coaching and Mentoring
    • Implement coaching cycles that support teachers' ability to design, deliver, and assess learning experiences that promote innovation and the purposeful use of technology.
    • Engage in continuous professional learning at the division and department level and through professional networks.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • A Virginia teaching license
  • A minimum of three (3) years of classroom teaching experience
  • Coaching and/or facilitating professional learning experience
