Job Overview

As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing essential services that reduce the effects of a disability experienced by clients. You will ensure client dignity, confidentiality, and safety within the program at all times.

Your duties will include:

  1. Providing individualized support to clients with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  2. Assuring client safety and well-being through accurate and timely documentation.
  3. Participating in team efforts to achieve program goals and objectives.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  1. A high level of patience and tolerance, with a desire to assist others to reach their potential.
  2. Ability to work effectively as a team member and take direction from supervisors.
  3. A valid state driver's license, proof of insurance coverage, and reliable transportation.
  4. Maintaining a working cell phone for electronic visits (EVV) and payroll purposes.

We require a High School Diploma or GED and prefer one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or functional impairments.

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $15.00/hour. The schedule is flexible, with opportunities for full-time or part-time employment.
