Laminator Job DescriptionTecnico Corporation is seeking a skilled Laminator to join our team. As a Laminator, you will work with equipment and materials to cover, strengthen, and protect paper items both on and off the ship.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate laminating machinery to produce high-quality laminated materials.
- Ensure proper materials are in place and perform safety checks to prevent defects.
- Read and understand technical drawings and specifications to meet quality standards.
- Identify and control non-conforming materials and notify supervisors of any issues.
- Package and label work in-process and/or finished product correctly.
- Ensure raw materials have been approved for use and equipment is properly calibrated.
- Work on the ship and at Tecnico shops removing and installing laminate.
- Develop skills in other Habitability areas, such as wallpaper installation and metal trim installation.
- 2+ years of experience as a Laminator.
- Ability to obtain a Government facility security pass and pass drug screening and work ability screening.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
