We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Security Guards to join our team at Allied Risk Management. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and Authorize Access: Ensure the secure entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other personnel to prevent theft and maintain the integrity of the premises.
- Report Incidents: Document daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Emergency Response: Call the police or fire department in case of an emergency, such as a fire or unauthorized persons.
- Deter and Prevent Theft: Take proactive measures to prevent theft and maintain the security of designated areas.
- Secure Designated Areas: Patrol areas to prevent unauthorized access and maintain the security of premises.
- Patrol and Respond: Patrol areas for suspicious activity and respond to alarms in a timely and effective manner.
- Good Communication Skills: Maintain good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
- NYS Security Guard License: Possess a valid NYS Security Guard License.
- S-60 Fire Guard License: Hold a valid S-60 Fire Guard License.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification: Possess OSHA 10 or 30 certification (for construction).
- Valid Driver's License or ID Card: Possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
