Bakery Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery/Deli Clerk to join our team at Kroger. As a key member of our grocery team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and clean shopping environment.

• Prepare and package bakery and deli items to meet customer requests
• Offer product samples and recommendations to enhance the customer experience
• Inform customers of bakery and deli specials and promotions
• Provide accurate and efficient service to customers, including handling transactions and resolving issues
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the bakery and deli areas
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and profit goals
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

• Customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
