Job Summary

We are seeking an Anatomic Pathologist to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in general Surgical Pathology sign-out covering most organ systems. Subspecialty fellowship training in Breast Pathology and/or Cytopathology is considered a plus. Additional responsibilities include teaching residents, medical students, and fellows. Certification by the American Board of Pathology is required.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in general Surgical Pathology sign-out covering most organ systems
  • Teach residents, medical students, and fellows
  • Conduct research and publish papers in the field of Anatomic Pathology
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of a residency program in Anatomic Pathology
  • Certification by the American Board of Pathology
  • Subspecialty fellowship training in Breast Pathology and/or Cytopathology is considered a plus
