The Korte Company is seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Traveling Carpenter. This role will involve collaboration with our Diversified Operations Manager and Project Managers to facilitate all aspects of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform carpentry work in a safe and efficient manner
- Manage project staff, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Assist with callbacks, warranties, and emergencies
- Facilitate communication among owners, designers, preconstruction, quality assurance, subcontractors, and field divisions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask within time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks
- Ability to travel at least 50%
