About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sailboat Rigging Specialist to join our team at Safe Harbor Marinas LLC. As a key member of our marine maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our sailboats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, Maintain, Repair, and Replace Sailboat Rigging and Sail Systems
  • Perform Mechanical Repairs and Maintenance on Sailboats
  • Inspect and Estimate Repairs for Sailboats
  • Assist in the Preparation of Sailboats for Safe Sailing
  • Splice Lines, Service Winches and Furling Systems
  • Service Sailboat Steering Systems and Deck Hardware
  • Wax and Clean Spars
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Sailing Knowledge and Experience
  • Hoisting/Crane Operator Experience
  • Ability to Ascend and Descend a Ladder
  • Ability to Lift 100 Pounds
  • Ability to Work in All Weather Conditions
  • Basic Boat Handling Skills
  • Ability to Hang, Move, Twist, and Climb with Loads
  • Ability to Go Aloft
