Liberty Senior Living is a premier healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Resident Care Services (LPN License Required) to join our team.

About the Role

This full-time position involves overseeing the recruitment and training of resident care aides, ensuring seamless coverage through effective time management and scheduling. You will work closely with the Area Directors, Director of Resident Care Services, and Administrator to coordinate TB skin testing and Hepatitis B vaccinations for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Utilize our Time Management program to ensure proper staffing levels and maintain on-call staff schedules.
  • Staff Development: Coordinate orientation and training for new staff members, in collaboration with the Director of Resident Care Services and Administrator.
  • Clinical Operations: Oversee TB skin testing and Hepatitis B vaccinations for all employees, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in Safety Committee meetings and other relevant gatherings to foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Must be an LPN with experience in geriatric resident care and have a strong understanding of healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Supervisory Experience: Proven track record in supervising staff and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine concern for the welfare of our residents.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to receive, understand, and follow orders from superiors.
  • Professionalism: Ability to work well with nursing staff, other departments, families, and visitors.
Benefits and Compensation
