We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated annual salary range of $180,000 - $220,000, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative work environment.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will join our Corporate Counseling & Transactions Unit (CC&T) in Bloomington, IL, where they will advise on technology-related matters, including transactions for services, vendor contracts, and intellectual property ownership/licensing.
This role requires drafting and negotiating various technology agreements, counseling business areas on risk allocation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, and active licensure to practice law in at least one state.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 3-6 years of transactional experience, preferably in the technology area
- Commitment to providing quality legal advice and learning agility
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Able to obtain a limited license in IL if not already licensed
The selected attorney will also be expected to participate in team activities, engage in preventative law practices, and contribute to the success of our organization.
This hybrid role requires spending most of the time in the office, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. Remote work arrangements may be adjusted accordingly.
