We are seeking an experienced Industrial Wastewater Plant Manager to join our team at Operational Technical Services. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, staff development, and management of our industrial wastewater pretreatment facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of day-to-day operations and management of the facilities
  • Provision of trained staff 24/7
  • Management of remote communications network and assigned SCADA network
  • Collections of samples and laboratory tests as necessary
  • Meetings with clients to discuss and review plant operations and maintenance
  • Understanding industrial facilities operating goals and production schedules
  • Management of operating budgets, including annual operating and capital expenses
  • Monitoring operations through inspection and review of data, records, and reports
  • Accurate and up-to-date record-keeping and preparation of required reports
  • Response to complaints and initiation of action to resolve issues
  • Management of repair, maintenance, and construction activities

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent; BS in Environmental Studies or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License required
  • Valid State of Georgia Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators license (Biological); Industrial Treatment Operators license a plus
  • Ability to make sound decisions in process control and follow instructions, safety procedures
  • Proficiency with computers, including SCADA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Maintenance Management Programs, and site-specific systems
  • 3 to 7 years' experience in managing complex water and/or wastewater facilities
  • Experience overseeing budget and optimizing costs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record with regulators, solid understanding of regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Background check, pre-placement physical, and drug screen before employment

Estimated Salary: $73,600 - $88,480 per year
