Job Overview

As a Warehouse Material Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing materials related to commercial construction. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in handling wholesale construction supplies. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, organize, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as will-call orders.
  • Utilize appropriate equipment to load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
  • Conduct inventory counts and ensure stock levels are replenished as necessary.
  • Transport materials as required using company vehicles.
  • Keep the warehouse environment clean and orderly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with departmental regulations at all times.
  • Work collaboratively within a team or independently as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in construction material handling, preferably in a wholesale distribution setting.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50lbs) regularly during shifts.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Proficiency in English is necessary, including the use of mobile communication and MS Office.
