Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bird Control Specialist to join our team at Rentokil North America. As a Bird Control Specialist, you will be responsible for performing bird control services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter customer properties, check in with contacts, and interact with customers to help deter the nuisance of flight animals, such as birds, seagulls, bats, and pigeons.
  • Perform bird control services, including installing netting, running cabling, and using drills and screwdrivers.
  • Travel to customer locations for up to 2 weeks at a time, with a per diem for flights, lodging, and food.
  • Build good relations with district office management, coworkers, and service customers in a courteous manner at all times.
  • Maintain equipment and vehicles in a state of cleanliness and good working order for personal comfort and safety.
  • Responsible for attaining productivity levels based on training, experience, and type of accounts serviced.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time.
  • Comfortable at heights and able to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Pass a pre-employment screening of background, motor vehicle, and drug testing.
  • Obtain any required industry licenses within 30 days of hire, such as OSHA and lift certifications.
