Tire Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in our shop and roadside service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles
  • Perform equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties
  • Work in close quarters, lifting 75+ pounds, and working in various temperatures
  • Ensure customer safety and satisfaction, complying with company safety policies and procedures
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in tire repair and maintenance a plus
