Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer for a contract opportunity with a State Government organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SharePoint and Power Platform development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps (both canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate.
  • Configure Dataverse and automate business processes effectively.
  • Lead workshops for functionality discovery and gather requirements from stakeholders.
  • Utilize programming skills in .NET, SQL, Azure, and C# to deliver solutions.
  • Analyze business challenges and create functional mappings to develop applications that address identified use cases.
  • Integrate APIs or REST services while managing multiple data sources.
  • Hold certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the Power Platform and collaborate with IT resources to implement solutions.
  • Create design documentation for common use cases and prepare mockups/prototypes based on business requirements.
  • Define and refine governance approaches for platform usage within the organization.
  • Engage in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.

Qualifications:
Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction during technical and business discussions. The candidate should be adept at working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
