Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate and complete demographic and insurance information.
  • Meet CHS and Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville guidelines for patient registration, including collection of deductibles, co-payments, and coinsurance requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and hospital staff.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and departments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in registration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers, printers, fax machines, credit card machines, and scanners.
  • Medical terminology knowledge, either through completion of a class or prior work experience.
