Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our Cath Lab team. This role involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and working closely with a team of cardiologists to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.">
• Identifies and assesses patient condition to deliver personalized care and improve treatment outcomes.">
• Maintains a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines.">
• Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff members.">
• Utilizes downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.">
• Maintains strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.">

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.">
• Previous procedural area experience preferred.">
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI), and Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required prior to providing patient care. Current BLS certification is mandatory throughout employment, with ACLS training achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.">
• Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or an accredited Cardiovascular Program, with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.">
• Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, with Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within six months of hire.">
