Project Manager Job Description

LMT Defense is a leading provider of top-tier products to the US Military, law enforcement, and government agencies, as well as international customers worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of exceeding customer expectations of quality and value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope and Objectives: Determine and define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Resource Management: Predict and manage resources needed to reach objectives, ensuring effective and efficient use of personnel and materials.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking costs and ensuring return on investment for capital expenses.
  • Scheduling and Work Planning: Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project strategy, adjustments, and progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Industry Best Practices: Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance, identifying areas for improvement and making adjustments as needed to achieve positive results.

Requirements:

  • High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent.
  • Two or more years' experience in a Project Management role.
  • Strong familiarity with Project Management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and overall communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in product engineering, industrial or mechanical engineering, business administration/operations, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.

Salary: $90,000.00 per annum.
