Job Title: School Social Worker

Job Summary

The School Social Worker will provide social-emotional and mental health services to students, collaborating with teachers and staff to create a nurturing learning environment. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive school culture and promoting the well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing social-emotional and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote social-emotional learning and mental health.
Requirements
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois with a School Social Worker endorsement.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with students in grades K-5.
