  • Accurately prepare and portion fresh/frozen meats according to customer requests, utilizing proper cutting equipment and techniques. Minimize shrink by ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with management to provide seasonal critiques on sales and merchandising strategies, contributing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about current meat promotions and educate both associates and customers about upcoming specials and seasonal offerings.
  • Assist in preparing the department budget, monitoring expenses, and analyzing profit/loss reports. Take proactive measures to address any financial concerns.
  • Ensure accurate pricing by scheduling daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, updating shelf tags, and maintaining promotional signage.
  • Implement a well-organized inventory process, including regular stock checks, identifying discrepancies, training associates on proper stocking procedures, and utilizing Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) systems.
  • Promote a safe work environment by identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective measures to ensure the well-being of all team members.
