Avera Speech Pathologist Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Speech Pathologist to join our team at Avera Sister James Care Center. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide care and treatment to assigned patients, assessing their needs and formulating treatment plans. Your expertise will help patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders, improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and screen patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Administer and perform therapeutic interventions, including speech and language therapy
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program
  • Current licensure/certification as a Speech Pathologist in the state of South Dakota
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
