Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $6,000 - $7,000 per week, based on the 36-hour workweek and the client's location in Texarkana, TX.

Job Description

This 13-week Telemetry Registered Nurse travel assignment requires a skilled professional to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities, with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, with adequate supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Strong technical skills, including fine manipulation and the ability to move equipment (50-100lbs).
  • Ability to work under close supervision occasionally and without assistance from other personnel.
  • Continuous concentration to detail and ability to contend with irregular activity schedules.

Qualifications

A valid RN license in the state where you'll be practicing, BLS certification, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) are preferred. You'll also need telemtry nursing experience.
