Job Summary

This per diem occupational therapist position will require flexibility, including weekend work. You will provide rehabilitative care to patients with impaired abilities due to developmental deficiencies, aging, medical concerns, or psychological and social disabilities. As a skilled occupational therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and instruct patients, family, and students.

Responsibilities
  • Complete OT documentation in the medical record according to department guidelines and maintain department records for billing and statistics.
  • Manage OT caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Select and perform appropriate Occupational Therapy evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems.
  • Set treatment goals and devise a treatment plan, re-evaluating and adjusting as needed.
  • Provide clinical supervision and teaching for OT students or staff.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina.
  • No prior experience required.
