Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Craft Laborer to join our team at M. A. Mortenson. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing, handling, and supplying materials for various duties assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload equipment
  • Perform general cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading
  • Provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentices
  • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Ability to work with tools and equipment, such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers
  • Strong teamwork orientation
  • Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
  • Detail orientation
  • Active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction
