Job Overview:
At Amentum, we're seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Lone Wolf Team, you'll play a critical role in supporting, operating, and maintaining the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES). This is a challenging position that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
The Senior IT Virtual Server and HCI Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining an IT enterprise of Virtual Machine environments hosting MS Windows servers, Linux environments, and Citrix VDI services. Key responsibilities include cluster health management, license upgrades, and troubleshooting performance issues within the Nutanix Acropolis environment.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and network security.
- 5+ years of experience managing MS Windows servers, Linux environments, and Citrix VDI services.
- 2+ years of experience managing Nutanix HCI environments, including configuration and VM management.
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing VMs, configuring optimization features, and managing alerts and events.
- Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
