About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse Specialty plays a vital part in delivering specialty healthcare and patient care management. As a key member of our team, you'll assist physicians and other staff in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Provide pre- and post-operation patient education, incorporating nursing theory to deliver high-quality care.
  • Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and procedures.
  • Perform selected nursing and administrative duties.
  • Provide minor wound care and attend staff meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Healthcare provider level BLS/CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • At least 1 year of professional nursing experience.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record system.
